So just what is this “Maui” thing anyways?

This post is in: Business

Have you noticed all the Maui references lately?

Back in 2003, I was part of a mastermind group that went on to create Maui Mastermind. Over time, the purpose of the event (and company) and focus changed. For example, in the beginning, we gave 20% of the gross proceeds to charities. One of those charities was an orphanage in Juarez. My husband Richard and I went on to become very involved in this and other of the so-called “Maui” charities. We were blessed to find David at one of the orphanages and brought him into our life as our son.

Times changed and my lofty ideals (as I’ve been accused of having) for Maui Mastermind didn’t mesh with the new plans for the company. I am no longer involved whatsoever with Maui Mastermind, Maui Millionaires, David Finkel or any other company associated with him. This has been true since Fall 2007.

I apologize if you were one of the many people who have been led into thinking that I was part of any seminar or program of the Maui group or associated Finkel company since 2007. If you have any further questions, please contact us through the “Contact Us” portion of USTaxAid.

Also, if you have purchased “Maui Millionaires” or “Maui Millionaires for Business” and have been unable to get the free promised video or audio programs, also drop us a note. We’ll be able to at least partially fulfill on the promises that have been made in the books but unfulfilled by Finkel and the Maui companies.

We are a very small (micro) home based IT consulting firm. I seem to be on the maui mastermind email list. I tried checking them out with the local better business bureau and somehow found out they are located in a po box or something. Like a virtual office. Not sure if they are legit or not.

    Hi Mark,

Thanks for your comment. The original post was made in May of 2007. We disassociated from Maui later that same year and currently have no contact with them or connection to that organization.
